108

Thankfully, we've had rain this week to wash some of the dust out of our lives, but a few days ago it was one hundred and eight degrees. Again. Desperate times call for desperate water abuse, a.k.a. let's put the sprinkler under the trampoline!

Extra Danger=Extra fun

Jesse was dubious.

Then he got over it.

Even Husband magically appeared wearing swimming trousers when I thought he was slaving away in the studio. (his window faces the back yard) I love a man who has his priorities straight.

Think you don't have the time of day to be silly?

I heart summer

Oh Summertime, my grass is still green and you haven't reached 100 degrees yet. Flowers are peeking out from every corner and the river is full of cool water and laughing children. I know I will eat my words in a month when I'm peeling my sunburn and mourning the death of my burnt fig tree but right now I don't even hate you.
